Good to know

Honda gives 2,200 W maximum and 1,800 W rated output from a GXR120 engine, with Oil Alert (it stops the engine if the oil gets too low) and an auto-decompressor for an easier pull start. Honda quotes the weight as 21 kg on the product page and 20.7 kg on its range page. Honda reminds buyers that some appliances need much more power to start than to run.

Safety: Honda’s safety advice for generators: never run one in a confined or partly enclosed space, in a garage or house, or near open windows or doors, because of carbon monoxide. Never connect it to a building’s wiring unless an isolation switch has been fitted by a qualified electrician.
